Hello, I'm new to this community and a new puppy-owner as well. I have a 10-week-old Cavachon puppy (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bichon Frise) and wanted to have a place to give and get support. My husband and I adopted our little Spencer 2 weeks ago, right before Christmas. He's a joy and challenge every day. We are crait training him and it is going very well. Yesterday was our first accident-free day. The biggest challenges have been getting Spencer to go outside. We live in Wisconsin and got 18 inches of snow dumped on us 2 days before we picked up our little guy. He hates the cold but hates his coat even more. We use boiled chicken as his outside treat to make it the place to be. He does fairly well and knows he is supposed to potty outside, it's just tough to get him out there with his wining and look of utter disgust. He'll go on walks (we go 2-3 times a day) for a block or 2 but I'm concerned he's having very negative associations with the outdoors. Time and weather will tell though.

 I'm wondering if anyone else has this mix-breed in the community? What have your experiences been?
