    Sunny Sunday chat

    Morning!

I hope everyone had a good week! Mine was super exhausting but pretty great. For those not on Facebook, abbie and I trained at the forest (otherwise known as the body farm). Abbie did really well. Everything I took with me though is now super stinky. That stink sticks to everything. I need to give abbie a proper bath. I think I need to throw out the floor mats in my car too since God knows what was all over our shoes.

I would love to lay around on the couch today but am meeting some friends for breakfast then we are going to the east Lansing art fair. This is one of my favorite events each year. It's huge and sprawled  over msu campus and downtown East Lansing.

Julie, I loved reading about your body farm training.  So fascinating.  I hope the stink washes out.  Have a good day at the art fair, it sounds fun.

Pretty weather here today.  My cousin and I spend almost three hours at the farmers market yesterday.  We had a good time.  Unfortunately we picked the wrong place to eat.  The food should have been awesome, based on the menu description.  Instead it was disappointing and expensive.  No big deal.  We did like the yucca fries.

Today I have housework, grocery and laundry to finish.  I'll start soon. Whenever my motivation is delivered. lol

Julie enjoy the art fair, something i would like. Not doing much today except laundry and not too much of that, I put the clothes in the washer, first load and i can fold the towels, after that DH does all the rest. :) Dh has a birthday tomorrow, then Tuesday is our Anniversary 42nd. yesterday I ordered a new sofa that is what I wanted for my Anniversary, won''t be here for a month though, I wanted different color and fabric. getting a reclining sofa.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday, it is very beautiful this morning but quite cold, Ava and me had a nice walk.

Julie, I'm bummed I can't read the FB update about the body farm, but it sounds like it must've been a great experience.  Too bad your souvenir had to be a stinky odor!  Enjoy the art Fair.  I love events like that.  We've got a huge one here, but not until July.

An early happy anniversary to you and your DH, Vivian (and BD wishes to him ,too).  I think a new couch is a great gift -- something you'll both enjoy.  I'm drawing a blank about where you live . . . Someplace it can still be cold yet!

It's grey and cool here.  Rain expected.  Yesterday turned out pleasant, so Ruby had a nice 2 mile walk.  Our friends came over for pulled pork that DH put on his Green Egg smoker at 6am.  To say it was tender and flavorful after 12 hours is an understatement.  During dinner, a huge clap of thunder came out of nowhere.  Only one, and no storm followed.  Ruby wigged out, barking and running in circles for a few minutes.

Off to my list of chores!

Vivian, happy anniversary (and happy birthday to your DH, too)! Julie, wow on the training opportunity. Did they give you any hints for getting rid of the stink?  How was the art show? Ruby, Mozey completely understands the thunder response--she hides and worries. She was hiding this weekend, too, because the Blue Angels had their show and they often fly right over the house. Jackie, bummer about the food--I would be really disappointed.

I just took RonnieO for his first walk--he is a sniffer! (He had a lot of say when Mozey went for her walk first, which is exactly what Mozey used to do when she first arrived and I walked Sinbad first.) He has a lot of energy  but is starting to settle in, and he and Mozey are doing well together.

The mosquitoes and ticks are out in full force--grrrrrr.
