Let me see Cleo eats in the kitchen...the hounds in their crates in the dog room...and Buck outside. Separation is important, here!

Right now? Where ever we can find space. We're in the process of moving.

Usually, he eats under the computer desk, which is across from the kitchen. At my mom's he eats around the wall from her dog. At work, he will ONLY eat in the office, not the breakroom.

We play musical crates right now.  In the mornings we move the crates from the living area back to the bedroom and two get crated for breakfast, usually Thor is loose in there for his....he'll steal anything that he can......Sheba, Theo and Tyler typically are spread out between the miniscule kitchen and the miniscule living area.  Theo should be crated to eat, but he raises holy heck if anyone so much as looks at him that we keep him with us where we can control the noise.

Typically, Thor, who we watch like a hawk the little thief, Tyler and Sheba eat in the kitchen and the Shadow, Thunder and Theo are crated.  That is, of course, when I actually have a house.

Crates - minimizes mess.  Anywhere else and the cats will try to reach into the bowls.

The corgis always eat in crates because they are resource guarders. The mals can eat loose. Nyx would probably steal Tyr's food (and he'd let her) but Nyx is a slow poke eater, so he finishes first. But I usually crate them to eat just because it's easier.

Well, with 4 dogs everyone eats in a different place.  Benny eats in his crate in the livingroom, Buster and Lady eat at different sides of the kitchen, and Max eats in the front hall near the water dish.

Honor eats in her crate, a habit from puppyhood training.

Willow likes to eat in whatever room I'm sitting in so she eats in different rooms a lot.

Woobie's a slow poke and Indie is a canine vacuum, so crates make things easier.  Otherwise, Woobie wouldn't get a scrap.  And yes, my mornings are too busy to deal with standing over them, training them to leave each other's food alone and to respect each other's space.  I'm lazy and feeding in the crate is easier.  I also separate the cats for the same reason, one slow poke kitty and one piggy.  It's also served to train everyone to eat up or lose out.  Food is presented for 30 minutes (while I'm in the shower) and what doesn't get eaten is taken up, free feeding had Milo turned into a very fat cat.  He'd chase Woobie off his food and eat it too!

Emma's supposed to eat in her crate. Her crate is in my bedroom. My lamp died. In the morning, she eats in her crate. After dark, she eats in the kitchen or laundry room, LOL.

I should just buy a lamp, but I keep forgetting!

Monroe eats in the kitchen...always has.

Morrison eats in his crate, upstairs...always has.   Separation good.

Casey eats in my room, his bowl is next to his water dish. When I have older fosters, they eat in their crates. The pups eat outside - makes clean up easier =], esp. if it's mush! Occasionally they eat in their crates - but I prefer outside, they eat, potty then come in for nap time. The cats eat on the counter - easiest way to keep the dogs out of their food!
