I'm still having huge issues with Layla biting hands with her little shark teeth. She's 10 months old, and the biting is getting less and less, but she still thinks she's playing while biting. I need some tips before she actually hurts someone. She's getting powerful by the minute...

Geez. That is awful! I can't imagine something like that happening to your (or anybody elses) mother. It's too bad she won't press charges against that creep, but at least you got her into someplace safe. That's the most important thing. Tunred puter on tonight, AOL news came up and story about a surfer saving a dog in Lake Michigan. The brown and black "mutt" was washed off the pier by a rather large wave and was being carried out. the owner was screaming for his dog, but it couldn't make any progess back to shore.
