Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    Gina, sending you and your family healing and peaceful vibrations.  This is such a devastating loss for you and your entire family, including Cleo and Ellie.  Please know that I have had you and your girls on my mind over the last several days.   I am so sorry you, your husband and your kids had to endure this pain.  

    Yes, Ellie's babies will help soften the hurt and I hope you will post many pictures of your new beaglets.

    Good luck in working to displace the coyote(s).  They are entirely too close.

    Hearing the tragedy of losing 2 beautiful and loving creatures is unimagineable. I am so very sorry you and your family had to endure such things.

    I hope you and yours heal well and a little dog prayer goes out to you.

    Enjoy the smells and follow them freely girls.

     Oh no!  I am so, so sorry.  I wish there was something I could do, but there aren't even words.  We will be here when you come back and in the meantime I will be thinking of you.

     I'm so sorry for your loss.  But I am glad you posted because I saw a coyote at my house just a few days ago and will be more careful from now on about when my dogs are outside in the evenings.

     Such beautiful little dogs and the light and glow of life in their eyes makes their passing almost unbearable.  I cry every time I think of your loss, Gina.  Nothing I say can help... but, I just know that the spark you see in their eyes has not disappeared, just moved on to a better place. 

     My heart is breaking for you and your family and how hard this is on all of you.  You're in my thoughts.... please hug Ellie and Cleo tight for me.

    Oh, Gina.... tears are streaming as I think about this.  I'm so heartbroken for you, there just aren't words to make you feel any better.  Please God let those beautiful girls be at peace together over the Rainbow Bridge, frollicking in sunny flowered fields enjoying all their happiest thoughts of your family and knowing how loved they will always be.

    Gina, I am so incredibly sorry to hear this. I always feel a stronger connection with people who have the same breeds as I do - I think everyone kind of does with their own breeds. I am in tears here. My thoughts are with you and your family *hugs*
