Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    She was a beautiful Golden Retriever. She enjoyed swimming, her ball and long hugs. Taylor(Beanie being her nickname) is my thought of a happy place at the beach enjoying a swim, of course my passed Doberman(Kala aka Moose) that also loved to swim is there swimming as well.

    I'm sorry for your loss.  Beanie is in good company at the Bridge.  RIP, sweet Golden girl.

    Was Beanie her name??? Your Dobie's name Taylor?  If so, Run Free, Swim Free Taylor and Beanie!  The greeting party includes many Idog babies waiting to welcome you, Shadow will be there and he also loves to swim and play ball.

    Yes, cancer is very bad....We lost Shadow to cancer... but Shadow taught us so much in the 4 short years he was with us I would not trade that for anything.

    TY so much for your condolences. Taylor was her name and Beanie her nickname.....Kala was the name of my Dobe.

    I truly believe animal lovers have a special place in the after life...... The Bridge is definately a great representation.

    Swim free, Beanie!  What a wonderful nickname.  I know she & Moose are playing in a steam bathed in sunshine!  I'm so sorry for your loss.
