R.I.P. Tango

Today I had to make the decison to have Tango put to sleep. He had arthritis and it got to the point where he couldn't walk or move anymore. He was 11 1/2 years old and was the best dog i've had in a long time. Here's some pics.

Very sweet pic's and very sad to hear about your loss. I had the same situation with my boy at 15-1/2, his muscles around his legs and hips deteriorated and he couldn't walk. Saddest day of my life, just know you did the right thing and remember you had the pleasure of him in your life for so long.. Run free Tango, please play with Duke.

I'm very sorry to hear this and having a 13 y.o. showing some of the same signs of arthritis, I know we'll be facing the same thing one day in the not so distant future. Run free Tango.

So sorry to hear about Tango but he is in a better place with no pain. He was such a sweet looking dog. That face just melts me. I know how painful the decision was and am sending you warm and healing vibes for your heart.

Chances,

I'm so so sorry for your lost. I totally understand how hard it was to make such a difficult decision. But you did the right thing, you loved him too much to see him suffer, and you have free him from all the pains. I, myself, couldn't hang on to my Mickey any longer knowing that his joints were deteriating and it got harder each day for him to walk.

My thoughts are with you and your beloved Tango. He's in a better place now, with no pains and free to play all day long.

Run free Tango. Bring my love to my Mickey and Boo.

I'm so sorry to hear about Tango :( I remember seeing his pics that you posted and thinking what a lovely old dog. He has such a big smile :) And look at that picture when he was young. He must have been such a great companion. *hugs*
