Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

     Larry, my friend's puppy, died today. I don't know what happened, because she can't talk, yet. He was Ena's "big brother", and the reason that his mom wanted another Chinese Crested. He was a great, little guy. He was... maybe 10 months old. I'm not sure, anymore. It's been a while since I had daily contact with him.

     

    Anyhow... ya'll send some of that good i-dog stuff. His mom is devastated.

    Oh, Jennie, poor little Larry.  I'm so sorry for your loss.  I can't imagine how his mom must feel.

    That's just awful.  It's hard when the little ones leave us, one feels cheated, somehow.  Zhi and everyone else here send their hopes that Larry's mom will find some peace.
