Oh Gina, I'm so sorry to hear this. I had to put my oldest rottie down this morning. I'm sure they entered those Milk-Bone gates side by side, romping free of disease and pain.

RIP little Hero. You've touched lives you never even knew.

Gina, this broke my heart. I'm so so so sorry...he was so full of potential in every way. I've just had a long day and logging onto the forum, this was the first post I saw...I just can't believe it. [X(] *hugs*

I was just thinking the same as Glenda -- Mr. Ears AND my Pollyanna will be there. Both just "bigger" enough to do the big bro & sis thing.

Gina, like you I was worried this might be the outcome -- and sometimes I just think it's amazing how nature just takes things into its own hands. You've certainly been on my heart.

You and your family have been on my mind all day...I hate to hear that he decided it was time to go to sleep. Try to find comfort in knowing all the other idogs that are waiting for him at the bridge.

Gosh so sorry Gina, Hero is in the best place now, running free and playing with our dogs that have gone before him. Princess will teach him how to get along up there! Think happy thoughts about him now!

wow I am just crying away here - I mean I know that we can never know why but this is just so sad - I have so enjoyed seeing the kids grow up, something I've never 'been a part of' before. he was so fun and full of life ............
