Little Ti just went to the Bridge

Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

Little Ti just went to the Bridge

Ti, or Tiger, came to us 17 years ago after I found her, and two siblings in an abandoned building.  They were about 3 weeks old.  She was your typical, aloof cat.  After her sister Spotty and her brother Bandit went to the Bridge last year, she got a whole lot friendlier.  On Tuesday, DS was headed out of town and asked me to keep a close eye on her since she wasn't drinking as much.  This was the FIRST I had heard of any problems.  She waited for her boy to come home, but was pretty far gone by the time he got back.  And she waited for both DH and I to get home this evening, but not by much.

    Run free pretty kitty.

Glenda I'm so sorry.  But I'm so glad he waited to say goodbye -- that tells you how much you were loved, doesn't it?

My sympathies to you all.  What a 'hole' he'll leave!  Rusty and Mr. Ears met him (along with the rest of the Welcoming Committee)

So sorry the loss of the last of your trio of foundlings; from an ominous start, all three of them had a good kitty life, safe and secure, aloof if they wanted to be and cuddled when they wanted.

I'm glad you were all able to say good-bye.

    Be at peace, Little Ti.

I am so sorry glenda.  WE just never know, do we, when their time will come.  All i can tell anyone is to love your dogs/cat/.horse, etc with all your heart and let them know they are loved every day of the week.

Glenda, I'm sorry for your loss.  Glad she held on till you and DH were with her.  What love she had for you guys... and it's obvious what love you both had for her.

Thanks all. DS is taking it pretty hard and it's odd not to have her here.  The other two cats seem to be mouring her passing as well.

Glenda, I just saw this.  I'm sure that by now, Ti has met Cochise, Pirate, Jerome, Jammer & Neptune.  They will make sure she's comfy cozy till her Sheps and her mom get there someday.  RIP little girl..
