We let Lexi go today. Congestive Heart Failure. She was 13 years, 3 months and 27 days old. I knew her since she was 2 weeks old- it was the longest wait till I could bring her home! She's been through thick and thin with me. I adore her- always will. She was a true best friend.

Tiffani -- I am so sorry -- it's that part of truly loving them that is so difficult. My heart is with you this weekend - it will be an empty holiday I"m sure *hugs*

Oh no, I am so sad with you, on the loss of your beloved Lexi. She lived a good life with all of you, and shared her love back many times over. It is so hard making that final, selfless decision. Hugs to you at this difficult time.

Lexi, there are a few bichons newly up there, my Sugar and Marlin among them. Go have a fun blitz, sweetie! Stop by now and then to let your HuMom know you are OK.

I'm so sorry to hear about Lexi. Having to make that decision is heartbreaking, as so many of us here know. Although it will be a while before you feel like the sadness is lifting a bit, I hope in time you will remember Lexi with smiles instead of tears.
