I knew this morning that she was leaving us.  I could tell by her eyes, the way she kept looking at me as if to say goodbye, and the way she couldn't settle, as if she were hearing Thor call her to him.

Mike, Sheba is on her way.  Look out for her for me, ok?

Oh no -- Glenda, I'm so sorry to read this!  I know you said Sheba was not herself, but I wasn't expecting to hear this kind of news.  I hope it gives you comfort to think of her being greeted by Mike and her dog siblings and friends.

I'm sorry...didn't mean to make anyone cry.  How many loses do we have to deal with this year?  Taking my son wasn't enough?  Now my sweet baby girl too?  Sometimes life just sucks.
