Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    It is with a broken heart I must tell you that I had Bonnie Blue put to sleep this afternoon.  Her suffering was just too much to bear anymore.  She went very peacefully and quietly.  She is at the Rainbow Bridge now.  Such a short life for such a dear little puppy.

    Broken Heart I am so very sorry.  Run free little one, your life was a short one but you filled it with love.  Hug for you and your DH.

    I'm so very sorry.  You made the most loving choice for her and I'm betting that Thor and Billy were waiting to greet her.  ((((hugs))))

    Vivian, I'm soooo sorry.  ((warm hugs))  Miss Bonnie Blue is not alone.  I'm pretty sure that there were quite a few  i-dogs greeting her & welcoming her.  Run free, Miss Bonnie Blue

     I'm sorry for your loss, but she is an idog, and will have a great welcome at the Bridge - and I'm sure that April will be first in line to show her little sis around.

    run free sweet Bonnie Blue, your life here was too short but I know you had a wonderful, loving, and happy time.

    I know that all your favorite things await you at the bridge and so many loving dogs will welcome you

    Vivan, I'm so sorry you and your husband have had to endure this loss.  I am certain that April will be the first to greet Bonnie Blue to thank her for loving you both with all she had.  Peace for your little body now, Bonnie, and joy for your happy soul that you have more than earned your angel wings.
