Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    Hanging in there.  It helps that we have something positve to focus on (the house), but I soooooooo miss my little gal.  I saw a yard sign today for Sam Anella....roofing or something, and I remembered the dogs thinking that Corky had to carry Sam n Ella around with her!  That was a little twinge.  One day at a time.........

    It has to be harder being "alone".  Just know that you aren't.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.......and there are LOTS of idoggers doing the same thing!  ((((HUGS))))

    Just now checking in.   Anne, I know that Mike and Dancer rallied everyone to the bridge Thurs and Friday.   They had  many to welcome!  My heart has been with you all weekend, and still today I will be thinking about you, both of you. 

    Slumber in the shade, spread your calm presence over the bridge, dear Maska til we see you again.

    Anne, I'm so sorry Maska's time with you was at an end.  Sending you comforting thoughts and picturing him reunited with those who passed before him.  Thanks for sharing his story.

    Anne, I'm so sorry for your loss.  My belated condolences to you.  The story you wrote of Maska's life was just lovely.  As is the case with all your dogs, Maska was truly blessed to have found such a loving home and such a devoted human Mom.  Just one more very special angel watching over you!  Take care.
