I know Chewbecca posted here a long time. This is where I first 'met' her and Ella.

Ella passed away today of acute lymphoma. It was so sudden and such a shock to everyone, most of all Becca and her family. You can read a little bit at their website, Ella's Lead: http://www.ellaslead.com/

Run free, Sweet Ella. You were one of a kind. There is no doubt your life touched so many around here and many other dog communities. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your humans who loved you so unbelievably.

I just saw this a few minutes ago on FB. She posted on another forum about Ella having surgery to remove a lump, but I hadent seen anything about what the biopsy results were. I cant believe how quickly this happend... Crying

Oh, that is just awful!!!! I keep picturing the thread where she was was hopeful for some oatmeal. That beautiful sweet face.... Oh, Becca must be heartbroken beyond measure. I am so sad for her.

Ella, sweetheart, you have been loved, adored, and treasured and that doesn't stop just because you've gone to cross the Rainbow Bridge.... our hearts and sympathies are with you, Becca, and the rest of Ella's family & friends who will miss that sweet face.

Oh, nooooo. It seems like I've known Ella forever here. What I do know is that she is one of those dogs that touches someone's heart in the most profound way. A lifetime heart dog, for sure. I know her mom must be heartbroken beyond belief.
