Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    Tom our cat. His picture is in my sig. went to the bridge on Jan. 5th. Tom was a full grown cat that someone just dumped off in town. He decided that he was gong to live with us and he did for around 16 years. I`m sure he is at the bridge happy playing with his dog friends (Sue, Fluffy, and Buffy.)

    Casey one of Mollys dog friends went to the bridge on Jan. 9th. Casey was very special to me also. They are both missed very much.

    I am so very sorry for your losses. I know they must seem overwhelming ,  I am sure your love for Tom made his life so wonderful ! And Casey is chasing the starbunnies waiting for a reunion with her very good friends.

    Gosh I"m so sorry -- January is such a tough month.  Any loss is hard, but two at once (even if one wasn't 'yours' it's still hard) ... gosh -- *hugs*

    It sounds like Tom did a great job at finding you since you loved and cared for him for 16 years.  I'm glad that he has friends to greet him at the bridge while he waits for you.

    Oh gosh, to lose both at once. I'm so sorry--they had a long and happy life.,though.

    Sorry to hear you and Molly have lost a special canine and feline friend so close together.  I've always noticed Tom in your signature banner and thought him a very handsome cat.
