Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    IM having a bad day and so are my dogs..... My heart hurts for Max and Mattie and I know Louie misses Alley too.... Zoey has seen so much pain in her life she separates herself from what's going on...
     I came upstairs to find Max laying under the table right were she use to lay .... My heart breaks and then the tears begin to flow.... Mattie walked out of the exercise room after I was done and started wiggling her tail looking for Alley..... between the two of them I got so sad all over again....Louie laid on the round foot stool were she use to lay... he lays there briefly and then moves on... :( Yesterday I was stronger but today isn't so good.... Please say a prayer for us today that we can yet get thru another day without our Alley girl... May we be strong in knowing she is in a much better place............I will pray for the others who have such such a loss that have posted here as well.... Kim

    Oh Kim,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, you are so right...she IS in a better place. I hope you can find some peace knowing that.
    It will take a long time to get over Alley, just take one day at a time.  As you see,,one day you'll feel a little stronger than the next... it just takes time.  Its okay to cry...we're all crying with you!
