Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    I know how difficult it is when you lose a precious fur friend.  He was definitely loved by those around him... very much so.  Those empty spots are horrible.  I feel it every time I walk into my parents' house and Brownie's not there.  I'm so sorry for your loss.

    What an enduring spirit he has, even at the Bridge. Run fast, run free, do that fancy dance that you do, Mr. Stanley.
