I May Lose My Greyhound Tomorrow

• I May Lose My Greyhound Tomorrow i_type Posted : 4/12/2007 8:19:00 PM Faith is my 13 year old greyhound - we have had her 11 years.  She has very bad kidneys and lately does not look too good.  She has lost a lot of weight and has trouble getting up our back steps.  So...we are taking her to our vet Friday am to have blood tests done to see if her levels have risen and how much weight she has lost.  The vet said her trouble with steps could be arthritis, but if her kidney levels are up he will know she is losing strength and there is no cure for this...   So...a sleepless night - I just lost my Lhasa Apso, Muffy, Jan, 5th and now this...I pray her levels are ok and it is arthritus, but my mind tells me this may be the end.  When I look at her I keep thinking "last night by my bed", "last night to get a cookie".. I need to get my mind to STOP, but I am very worried about her...   Guess by tomorrow night at this time I will know the outcome.. God give me strength!
