• Two losses in one week LeeAnn Chezem Posted : 3/21/2007 1:59:58 PM My husband and I are huge animal lovers and last week was the hardest week we have ever experienced.  Two of our dogs became ill within a month of each other.  Dusty our long haired Chihuahua, was thought to have seizures.  We treated with meds but he became worse.  The doctor decided he had a brain tumor and the following day he suffered a stroke and we had to put him down.  Our 13 year old poodle, Teddy was diagnosed with liver failure on the same day Dusty was found to have a tumor.  Teddy as well could not be saved.  We lost him within 3 days of Dusty.  Many people do not understand how much a pet is a part of your family.  Our loss is felt every day and we miss both Dusty and Teddy deeply. • i_type Posted : 3/21/2007 3:51:04 PM I am so sorry to hear of your losses...I lost my beloved Lhasa Apso, Muffy, in January and that was very very hard...I can't imagine losing 2 within the same week.  My heart really goes out to you and a lot of prayers!  At least you know they are not sick anymore...guess my little Muffy has 2 more friends to play with now!
