Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    In Memory for my darling April.  Today would have been her 9th birthday.  I still miss her everyday.  Loved that little dog with all my heart and soul.  Bonnie has been a life saver for me.

    The sense of loss does ease but it never quite goes away. I hope your wonderful memories give you comfort today and having Bonnie to hug is sure to help.

    Happy Birthday in Heaven April.      I hope you and my Michelle have found each other - you can both talk about how much your mommies love you and will always love you.

    A belated remembrance of April's birthday.  Even with the passage of time, there's still a deep sadness in our hearts when we recognize certain anniversaries and dates.  Our dog shared a birthday with my good friend's daughter, so my birthday greetings on that day are very bittersweet.  April was quite young when you lost her, but she was such an adorable girl.
