Bear

Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    Bear

It's been over a year, but Bear died. He had cancer and it got to his liver. He never wanted us to see in pain, so he hid it really well.We didn't even know he was sick until the very end.He was the best dog I've EVER had. RIP Bear. I love you.

I am so sorry to hear about Bear.   I lost my Shadow last year to cancer.   It is so hard when there is so little to do but love them til the end.

Run free Bear, no more pain for you!

I know Bear is in a better place and he is running free with no pain.  Hugs from someone who knows your heartache.

So many of us truly understand.  Bear was *worth* grieving for -- so let yourself grieve and talk LOTS about Bear.

Look at the Rainbow Bridge section here -- it can really help.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know it's one of the hardest things to deal with or to live with. But know that Bear is in a much better place now with no pains. You've come to the right forum. Many people on here are super supportive and will help you go  through this hard time. Hang in there. My prayers are with Bear and you.

Run free Bear. Bring my love to my furbabies.

We have all been there, and know how much we all miss our good dogs, even after many years.  Bear was lucky to have a loving human like you to care so deeply about him.

I'm so sorry for your loss; Bear sounds like a great dog. You could post some pics of him if you'd like.

Run free and run fast, Bear.
