Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    We lost our kitty Garfield today, he accidently got outside and was ran over by a car. He was mostly my uncle and Mama's cat but I loved him too. He was a sweet kitty who loved to cuddle. R.I.P. buddy you'll be missed. Crying

    So sorry - what a terrible way to lose him.  He was a handsome, sweet looking boy!

    God's speed Garfield.  I lost a kitty the same way.  We don't mean for it to happen.  You look like a wonderful boy and I know you will be missed.

    I am so sorry to hear about Garfield. He was a beautiful fellow & I'm sure brought much happiness to your family.
