Run Free Taina

Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    Run Free Taina

One of Pirate's neighborhood friends, Taina, went to the Bridge today. She was a pretty black cocker spaniel, but she had cancer and her mom decided to let her go. She lived a long life and enjoyed walking with our group.

If I-doggers could let their friends who are already at the Bridge know that Taina is there and have them point out some nice sunny grassy spots, I'm sure Taina's mom would appreciate it.

Sorry to hear Pirate has lost one of his friends. Give Taina's Mom my sympathies. Run Free Taina!

Well for sure Rusty (Glenda's cocker) and Muffin the Intrepid were there for the cocker delegation!!  What a pretty name ...

Please tell Taina's mommy Shadow will be waiting for her with open paws!  Shadow and Taina are happy now and no longer have pain.  I am sure he will share a wonderful sunny spot with her.

I'm sorry to hear about Pirate's friend.  My own boy, Tonka will look for Taina -- he should be easy to spot, because among the harem of neighborhood girlfriends with him now at the Bridge is a very sweet black cocker named Lili, who died last year very unexpectedly.  He also keeps company with another female cocker (blonde) named Ariel.  They all love grass and gardens, so they'll lead her to some special spots where they can all enjoy the scents and sounds.  Run free, Taina!
