Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    I am so sorry for your loss.  Over Christmas break I went to visit my mom and brothers in Chicago.  They moved there a year ago.  They took our two family dogs with them.  My Brandy was a golden retriever and the sweetest one you would ever know.  On Christmas day we got a phone call saying that our dogs got loose.  They found one running through a field, but Brandy had been hit by a car on the highway.  When we went to pick her up she looked like she had just fallen asleep.  I am so thankful for the 9 years I had with her.  Good luck with everything.

    I'm very sorry about your Brandy too. When my Brandy was killed, it also looked like she was asleep too. But she looked sad too. I wish she was still here but some updates since she was killed......
     
    We got another dog named Darcy. I'm feeling pretty good and havn't cried in a long time. I cant say I'm fully over her or ever will be. I hope I can see her one day.
