Video Tribute to my Sugar and Marlin

Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

Video Tribute to my Sugar and Marlin

Someone on the bichon forum put this together. Oh my, I hadn't yet looked back at prior times. Both had become old doggies, they really were ready to go. This has me bawling and smiling and everything. I thought I'd share it with all of you.  Really shows their personalities, lol.

Awww Sandie that was so sweet and thoughtful for your friend to do for you.   What a way to have those memories all in one place.

What a wonderful montage -- that's a special friend who would do something like that for you.  For a lot of us, putting something like that together ourselves would just be too emotional (especially so soon after the loss).  She did a beautiful job, and I really like her song choice!

Marlin and Sugar were sweet doggies -- and they clearly had a very happy life in your home with your family and their dog-siblings.

Thank you.  I know I haven't been on this forum long, glad you could enjoy seeing them healthy.

Yes, it is lovely to have this with some of their pics all together.  Still makes me cry, though.

I lost my Kobi going on 3 yrs now. I made a video as well. It still makes me cry when I watch it - but it's a nice cry.

That video is wonderful and what a thoughtful friend to put it together for you. I had to turn the sound off right away. I love that song more than anything but I played it and cried when we lost Buffy in November. Since then we've lost Sassy and just the melody in my head makes me want to burst into tears. It really is perfect for that montage though and seeing what your friend did makes me realize how important it is to take pictures regularly and note some special moments. (((Hugs)))
