Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    My heart is breaking for you.  I'm so sorry.  But just know that you gave her a wonderful, loving, happy life and I'm sure she couldn't have been any more content than she was with you.

    I am so sorry about your sweet Cherokee.  I think for me the worst thing was having a dream that my departed animals are still alive, and then waking up to reality and the grief hits you all over again.  ((hugs))

    It's been 7 years and 3 dogs later (whom I love) and I still have a big gapping hole in my heart for my "heart" dog Duke.  I know exactly how your feeling, your tribute was beautiful.  Run fee Cherokee!
