    1. At the bottom of each forum, click on the "More Options" button. In there, it says "Send Email". Make sure that is set to NEVER.

    2. In your Profile Settings, click the Email tab. Make sure that Enable Email Notifications of forum/thread subscriptions and replies to my posts is set to "No".

    If you want to receive Email Notifications for replies to a specific post, Click on the "Options" tab at the top of the Reply Window and check the box next to "Email me Replies to This Post".

    Does this turn off all email notifications? I liked to get some notifications, just not hundreds so I shut if off all together and haven't tried to turn it back on yet.

    My problem is that in places I've gotten notified TWICE of the same post. 

    I "sort" all my posts in my Yahoo email address -- I can click on "subject" at the top and sort all the posts by the subject heading and then delete all but one of them.  For me it's expedient.  But something is triggering the double emails of the same post. 

    It'll all get sorted -- most folks just ain't gotta CLUE of what an incredibly MASSIVE job this was and we didn't LOSE nuffin!!!  These guys who did this have done an absolutely marvelous job and it will all get sorted out sooner or later.  It's just that most of us hate change -- but heck -- we'll live thru it!!! *grin*

    I don't know the answer to your question. I don't want to get any notifications. But if you want to, I would try setting it to "yes" for step 1 above, only on the forums you want to receive emails from. Stick out tongue

    I'm sure they're working on the duplicate notifications, it's just not urgent when some people cant even post or log in.

    When you're replying to a message, up at the top of the screen, there are 4 tabs. One of them is Options. You can select to get notified of replies to particular POSTS.

    That's not Forums or Threads, but I thought it was cool. Cool
