HEADS UP! Grooming/Shaving a working Pyr thread

My edit was wrong as usual...she is being victimized by us and them now...*sigh*

Gina, this crap has been going on forever and nothing is ever done about it. It seems like the same group of people can attack me over and over again and that's just fine with everyone...because of the way that they do it. Ottoluv, Snownose, Espencer, Billy, and one or two other people are a group that literally follow me around the forums. They read every thread that I post in and then PM each other to come and attack me if I post something they fell that they can take issue with. It is the most ridiculous high school BS mentality and on any other forum I'm on they would get banned for what they do to people.

They're very good at what they do. They usually don't directly use my name, so to someone who doesn't know what's going on, their comments could be taken as innocent and ambiguous. Then, when  see what they're doing and react, everyone says "Aw that wasn't directed at you, why are you getting so defensive??" I know several people who LEFT the forum because they did the exact same thing to them, so I know I'm not crazy. I have asked all of these people to put me on ignore and not post in my threads, but obviously they won;t because they think it's funny to *** with people.

I always try to be polite and diffuse it, but nothing is ever done about it. So when I finally decide to stand up for myself and tell Kelly especially that I think she is a terrible person and that I can't stand her and she should stop posting in my threads, my post gets edited?

Whatever. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I have never had this issue on any other forum ever, and there people who behave as they do would get banned. Apparently the mods just wait around until their victims get sick of it and then edit the victim's posts. Wonderful.

Oh boy.  OK...I am on both sides of the fence here.  Yes, people bait her but yes, she overreacts as well.  I actually stepped in to a thread the other day and attempted to diffuse a situation between her and Kelly (Kelly was, as far as I know, responding to the OP, but Brittany took offense) but clearly there are always going to be issues there.  And she's right about snownose, who IMHO is the worst of them when it comes to baiting her.

Plus, you're right...she chooses the tone of her own posts and she can't get away with anything other people can't.  If the situation were reversed we'd have to edit then too.  

Let me know what her response is, and I'll have a talk with her if necessary.  I can have a talk with Kelly too, but I am not about to tell anyone that they can't share a politely phrased opinion.

Nevermind she has left and left us a nasty note in How Are We Doing which I locked to avoid the jackals jumping on it. I sent her a PM which I won't share here basically just letting her know that....I am disappointed truly that she's decided to call me names even tho I have truly tried to help her out several times.

It's my opinion that some things need to be edited in her message. She's outright insulting and attacking people in the last bit.

I was just coming here to ask if you'd locked that.  Sorry, but that note says more about her than it does about us.   

Yes, I went to edit it and saw that it was locked, wanted to make sure that was you, before doing anything else. 

I did lock it yes because Billy et all will have a field day with it otherwise, and I wanted the Admins/Mods to have a chance to catch up before that happens.

I think ALL goodbye notes should be locked IMO. They go on for DAYS and anything one wants to say would be personal, as in, to one person only and thus PM material. That's just me tho.

I am fine with whatever Admin decides to do. She's still Pming me apologizing for reaming me out via her Mod comments. I told her to rise above the water, go under, or swim to another ocean...but all oceans have piss in them.

It can stay, clearly she wanted people to see it, and it's been edited and locked now so it can just sit there.  It might spawn other threads, but we can deal with those if we have to.  I just read the grooming/shaving thread and her post that prompted Kelly's "wowza" wasn't exactly angelic.  What kind of responses did she expect from that?  Is there a full (non edited) copy of that somewhere?

The first edit was "damn" the last one was "Jesus"...I debated on hell...and left it, for now. Always keeping in mind Jaime wish that this be a family friendly forum I debated on editing that post...the entire thing is nasty as can be...for really no reason...who knows...

She just sent me a PM where she says she is on a ton of forums and this one gets the most moderation complaints, that members should be allowed to say what they want and move on, etc. I pointed out to her that SHE was complaining about us letting TOO MUCH stay when she felt she was being attacked...but now we do too much when we edit HER.

Flipping out...she must be...only explanation.

Good job ladies.. sorry you got pounced on Gina.  Rat has some sort of social issues (she's posted about it) and i don't think she can fully control herself sometimes (obviously) so I certainly hope you don't take it personally.

Otherwise... a mighty fine way of taking care of a crazy situation.
