    Ladies - I think we need to respond to this thread.  http://forum.dog.com/forums/p/99295/791777.aspx#791777 I started to draft one, but thought I should run it by you first, since I'm not a dog.com employee and don't want to put any words in anyone else's mouths...

    1. I want it known that we allow new posters who have links to dog.com contests
    2. I want it known that we do NOT allow new posters who link to pet-related contests outside of dog.com
    3. I want to respond that their idea of a sticky thread makes sense, but only to them - because these newbies who come here begging for votes don't bother to pay attention to our Forum Rules, let alone community decorum, so they will continue to post all over the place and we will continue to moved and edit them as we have been.  It's an unfortunate thing that we get spammed, but it's reality.
    4. That being said, I think we need to decide to delete some of these junk threads, rather than just eliminating the active links.  Do you agree?
    5. and probably the biggest question - WHEN WILL THE DOG.COM $1Mil contest end????  It feels like the Never-Ending Contest, exacerbated by the voting controversies (60000 votes in a day, really??)

     I am in complete agreement with you -delete is much better than edit on the crap posts

    as for the contest ending I think I heard it isn't until the end of Nov or something.  Major PIA

     Insanity.  My life is pure, unending insanity.  I'm sorry I'm only just now getting to this.  One day.... one day.... i will sleep. I just know one day I will get to sleep :)

      This is a great thread and I started to reply to it, clicked the wrong button and lost everything. I was too disgusted to finish the post and have been too busy to think about it since then.

     Paige or Karen, can I ask you to start an email dialogue including Laurissa with 1. the problem (or link to their question) and 2. the awesome solution you've come up with?  Copy and paste this, it looks great to me.  BTW - Contest ends in NOVEMBER. It is the contest that will not end.  That is for sure! :)  We want to make sure the company agrees that that is how they want to answer it.  Good consideration.

     For the record I prefer deleting trash, too. But, they want us to edit.  So, AR and then edit... sorry guys! :(
