Mods, needing opinions...

 The problem I have with this is that we have no way of verifying that she does actually need the stuff she's asking for, and also I fear that the floodgates will open - not necessarily with existing members, but that lurkers will see that we allowed this and will come on and ask for stuff too.  That could get hard to manage pretty fast.

Thoughts?

 I agree.... it could get out of hand.  But, that is what a freecycle is.  So should we define the rules for the freecycle? Our current rules is monetary solicitation, right? Or is it more encompassing?

 I responded in the AR post - I mean people do not have to respond so how does it get out of hand - the requests are ignored.  OK yea I am naive!

Don't get me wrong I think it is tacky and begging but perhaps she is really in dire straights?  Yes I am a bleeding heart as well
