Got a PM from Callie, a member tried to reg last night and needs help but didn't get a confirmation, Kate/Jaime can you look into it??
This is her PM:
I'm emailing this and sending a PM cos I don't know which is quicker for you:
Looks like you're the only mod on at the moment -- this guy emailed
me on my 'home' email. He has a dog with IMHA and he was trying to
become active on the forum but hasn't gotten his confirmation message.
this is his email to me and mine back to him (just for general
purposes) -- of course since he's got an IMHA dog I'm wanting to help.
Thanks. I'll find Gina and Kate's email as well but doesn't look like
they're on:
MY EMAIL
Steve -- no I'm not a moderator. ANY WAY to get you and your dog
"noticed" during this disease is FINE. You can contact me ANY time and
my phone number follows. I can't talk during the day while I'm at
work, but after 5 holler at me ANY time. Usually I shut the cell off
and plug it in by 10:30 but I'm completely available at my home phone.
Feel free to use it -- both my husband and I try hard to help folks
with dogs with this horrible disease.
My dog Billy did survive IMHA (and was one of the ones predicted NOT to survive - it was a huge task).
My cell is 407-310-4332 and my home phone is 407-767-8695. I will
forward your email to a couple of the moderators that I know and see if
I can help you get it sorted out.
But don't wait -- I'll be out of work at 5. Give me a call then (I'm near Orlando -- e.s.t.) and I'll help you all I can.
If you can either send me your number or call me then, I can help
you short term. The huge HUGE thing with IMHA is reacting **fast**.
Faster than with any other disease -- don't let your vet put you off
saying "well, lets see what the weekend brings" or "Let's wait until
Monday" NO NO NO -- when they crash with this it happens SO fast.
You'll notice I've copied myself at my callieatcritturs@yahoo.com
mail -- SIMPLY because I filter all the board stuff thru that so that's
where all my "addresses" are and the mods will recognize that address.
I'm actually going to go ON the board and copy your entire email (and
my response) and send it to Kate (Benedict), Gina (rwbeagles) and a few
others and see if they can get some help. You can get me at either
email address (my home computer is having problems so I'm using one of
our 'spares' at home so I'm kinda bouncing all over email-wise right
now.
Good luck -- glad to help you ANY way I can.

Hi- I am sorry if this is not the proper way to go about this, but I
noticed that you posted quite a bit on the IMHA forums, and maybe you
could help. I tried to sign up last night, but never got a confirmation
email. Are you the board moderator? If not, do you know who is?
My
dog was diagnosed with IMHA this past Sunday and is not in good shape.
I am just looking to be a part of this forum as it has already helped
(for better or for worse) me start to understand this disease.
Thank you.
Steve
