**blink** did DPU just really say that?

**blink** did DPU just really say that?

Are my eyes deceiving me, or did DPU just call everyone who doesn't rescue "scum" in this thread?

    • Gold Top Dog

he did but are we really suprised? Oh and a nice note from Jeano I see in AR's and the one by Anne I moved to NDR should keep us on our toes today, too!

    • Gold Top Dog

Yeah Jeano is ***mad*** at me.

    • Gold Top Dog

no doubt. He's no longer here tho...he's been banned...so WHAT exactly does she think will happen bringing him up here?

    • Gold Top Dog

I don't know.  I asked her that during our PM exchange and she didn't reply.  I also pointed out that even if he WAS still a member we wouldn't/couldn't do anything since what happens elsewhere is not our concern.  She is livid that she was edited because "she was just responding to Cita's comment that the thread is civilised".....well the thread IS civilised....it may have uncivilised offshoots elsewhere but that's really not the point.

The blog comments were unpleasant, granted.  But Jean can ban IP's and moderate comments on her own blog so what we're supposed to do....I'm not sure.

isn't it in a quote from someone else's post?

Not defending him - it is a quote from eagle something or other isn't it?

    • Gold Top Dog

no...eagle said that he thinks anyone who abandons or tosses their dog is scum....DPU responded by saying that anyone who is in a position to rescue a dog or dogs, and does not, is also scum.

sorry I skimmed it and didn't catch that Embarrassed

must go back and read it properly

OK must be dumb as a cluck - DPU has one post and the only reference to scum is in quotation

    • Gold Top Dog

Yeah he doesn't actually SAY it, hence why I posted this thread to begin with, I was hoping I was misunderstanding.  Eagle calls them scum and DPU replies with "then of equal status are...."  and goes on to talk about anyone who can rescue or volunteer and does not.

gotcha - a bit too subtle for my foggy asthmatic body this morning

    • Gold Top Dog

Icky, I'm sorry you're still having problems.  I developed asthma as an adult and it just kind of blindsides you, doesn't it?

    heck yea!

I probably had it mildly for most of my life but it became serious here in NC - apparently this is a very high allergen climate and mild allergies becoming full blown is common in these parts Sad  Upon testing my allergens are so extensive I cannot manage the environment.

I have had my fair share of 'ailments' in life several I will always live with but asthma is the most difficult for me and honestly I find it exhausting.  Suddenly last night it just hit again and it took ages in order to get enough relief to sleep and then the morning after my chest just feels filled with mucus and sore.  All I want to do is curl up in bed - enough whining, sorry
