"I read the threads that were linked in from when gahustle was here before. And all he did was insult everyone here, nearly every single time he posted. And people responded to that and got admin and mod warnings. Now he's back, insulting as ever, and once again, we get the general warning. So, we are to put up with crap? Granted, we don't have to respond. But why is it that there's no warning when he goes on about his low opinion of this forum? Also, granted, he's young enough to be my son and if he was, I would engage in some corporal punishment, as unpopular as that is here. Because someone didn't raise him right. I was raised with manners but I was also raised not to take crap off of anyone. I don't have a problem leaving the thread alone but I'm willing to bet you dinner at Ralph's and Kakoo's (fine cajun dining) that he's here just to create problems and be acrimonious. Or am I misunderstanding the tone and rules of the forum? I could always be wrong, though I am right about Ralph's and Kakoo's."

I understand your frustration but the fact is NO ONE...not ONE SINGLE MEMBER made a report on this person. So what exactly would you think when we go in ten pages later and see members being nasty?
The adult thing is to not engage,,,call names, make suggestions on parenting to him or about him...but to REPORT the posts. You set yourself up to be edited when you take bait...plain and simple. Report the bait and the baiter will be dealt with.
Admin is going thru the thread and will be contacting this member. Please help us by not attempting to engage...but instead using the tools offered openly to diffuse situations and threads. THAT is how "crap" and members who spout it...will get dealt with.

I think we need to DEAL with the trolls but I also think the members need to not make troll hunting a sport and USE THE TOOLS they are given. I do not now nor likely will I ever...understand why they get upset when they ignore mod warnings and post in response then get edited. *sigh*. Help...please.
