    Back... for a few days.

Sorry -- looks like I (sadly.  HAH! Not so much.) missed all the action. Good work ladies!

However Logan is now UKC Ch Waltz To The Top v. Anson :o)  He took 1 Gp 4, 1-  Gp 3, 2 - Gp 1's and 1 Reserve BIS.... and thus finished his CH :o

I had given him a lot of time off and it showed, in a good way! :) He really, really showed well, his confidence has grown.  He'd never been under male judges before and we had 3 this weekend (i wanted the practice for next weekend at our Specialty), he did really well. His movement has come a long way from puppyhood! Honestly, I'm surprised he didn't do better... but, that's the fun of dog shows, I guess.

So as a reminder we leave Thursday for Portland.  Until then, heres I be. :)

So proud, I can't even tell you how proud.  Good job Lani & Logan!

Great job! Don't they give you delicious ribbons in UKC? I always loved that part LOL. Big congrats on the RBIMBS!

    Thanks so much!! :D

What does RBIMBS stand for, I'm assuming it's something to do with the RBIS, but I was wondering what the acronym meant.

The ribbons were almost all rosettes, a bunch of cool magnets, bumper stickers. his RBIS got us a wall clock that said RESERVE BEST IN SHOW ALL BREED  (then the club which is the Silver State American Pit Bull Terrier Club).  Lots of loot!! :o)  And I enjoyed how laid back the atmosphere is.  So much more FUN than an AKC show everyone was cheering for each other, it was really fun.

Handled by a friend, he had just won Group and Judge was giving 2nd to a GSP:

    My handsome boy in Group:

Judge being thorough. ... what is she looking for here!?

Reserve Best In Multi Breed Show. If yours was an ALL BREED then the ackronym would be different. Ours usually aren't all breed because Belgians are not included since their judging is so specialized and only a few judges are able to do it. So ours are almost always Multi Breed.

    he looks great!

Ahhh, i didn't know that about the Belgians!  Good to know. I'm not sure if it was a Multi-Breed or All Breed, there weren't any Belgians there, but the clock says AB, not that that couldn't be an error.

THere were several rare breeds there, though.  Icelandic sheepdogs (apparently like 200 in the entire country!) a Hungarian Greyhound, patterdale terriers to name a few.  I'd never heard of these until i met them!

Thanks so much, it's fun to watch him turn into a big-boy! :)

That is something wonderful about UKC shows...the breeds. Here we get tons of Klee Kai and Valhunds...occasional Plott Hounds and once even a Kangal...so it's a real treat!

Did you have any SPoodles in the Gundog Group? I love that they're included there.

LOL YES!  We had Standards and Multi-Colors (and toy, which won Group all day yesterday.)  I hear they are hard to beat... which I witnessed on Saturday!!  I think I'm glad they are in Non-Sporting in AKC.  The poodles (that were there) I hear are nice (according to several of the poodle people).  Honestly I don't know one poodle from another, but they are flashy it's hard not to notice them.

We had a ton of really cool breeds, Afghan Hounds, Rotts, ACD's, Bischons.... to name a few of those you see at AKC and then not at AKC Pressa, tosa, pits and Staffordshire's (and the others I mentioned and  I know I forgot a ton! :)  I fell in love with the Afghans, but what a ton of grooming they require!  Holy crap.  I loved seeing them in the ring tho.

I love seeing all the rare breeds.  Like I said I learned about a ton of new breeds.  Is it where you will be showing Cleo?

Is it where you will be showing Cleo?

If I decide to show her yes that'd be the venue. I enjoyed it in past with the hounds. That and Int'l would be another option.

Still waiting to get her looked at tho to see what her potential is. With Giants I am not sure there's a lot of point in showing before they are over the knock-kneed and can't get out of their own way stage LOL.

But then again, there are puppy Judges who love to put them up........ just saying! :o)

It's kind of strange I've seen 3 Leo's here in Reno all having come from the PNW.  Guess that's where the Leo's live! :)
