Ok - I've read and reread the thread a million times and have decided that I think it is ON the line and I do not like the generalizations, but she has not gone over the line.  To recognize how close it was I did post a general warning in the thread reminding them to keep talking about politics and the media - not race. 

Kate will also be sending her a note in the morning to watch herself in general when it comes to her racist, sexist, etc. comments.

Thank ya m'am! This is a pattern with her. She had some interesting posts in the gay marriage talks a while ago, too...and the one about profiling Muslims, I think.

I'll steer clear of the posts then... I was always taught not to speak politics and religion in polite company, so I may find it more offensive than most.

Hmm, thinking about it, I guess calling some of our regulars "polite" in any facet maybe a generous comment, though!
