Away overnight on Thursday...

Heading to Manchester for the night, and leaving early (about 11 my time I think) because if I miss this concert I might well chuck myself off a bridge. Would not be a good time to be delayed in traffic.

Back sometime on Friday, depends whether we decide to enjoy some Mancunian sights or just head home.

LOL....Believe it or not, with the exception of meeting a friend at the train station en route to somewhere else, I have never been to Manchester. Certainly never stepped foot outside Piccadilly. I think DH has...not sure. But we might have a bit of a wander on Friday morning, the weather is supposed to be nicer there than it will be here.

Enjoy the concert and subsequent wander, actually Manchester has really tarted itself up since the IRA bombing in '96.
