    Didn't want to show everyone

But wanted those welcome in the Mod's den to see it! :)

I made the kids their own little place on the web, mostly to mark Logan's accomplishments as we get them.  Hopefully I'll be updating the site often!

    Thanks:   http://loganweim.homestead.com/index.html

Nice pic on the main page! he's maturing nicely.

The text looks broken up to me...hard to read...that could be my monitor tho (?)...it's not black and solid looking but fading a bit...like it's stretched too thin?

Thanks Gina! He is coming along nicely, we have our first match, weather permitting Saturday (looks like it could be nasty out, which is fine cause it's indoors, just HARD to get to!)  I'm looking forward to seeing how he does in that atmosphere, he's been pretty good about stacking and gaiting practically anywhere, so i'm hopeful!

How weird that it looks differently for you!  Maybe it's a Mac/PC thing. I fixed it... i think. When you get a chance could you take a peek and let me know if it's any better?  Thank you!

Yes text is now easy to read....but it's "dangling" off the template behind....see screen shot:

I think it might just be my settings...most things display right but you never know!

    Thanks Gina,

Another update, we were in our first match today.... and we took puppy BIS!!  I know this isn't exactly prestigious but it's a great confidence builder for me and the pup, the judges, after the fact, when they found out it was our first show was shocked.  So i think that bodes well.

I don't feel like posting this for everyone, but wanted to share! YAY LOGAN!

Hopefully one of many BIS's :o) hahaha

it means plenty girlfriend. My co-owned puppy Windy took a puppy BIS and ended up finishing, with almost all majors (22 points) by 8 months old...so yeah you're gonna do GREAT!

    CONGRATS!

Thanks Gina!!  Wow!! How does a pup end up with 22 points?!  That's amazing!  .. and by 8 months?  That's AWESOME!  Out of curiosity was she owner handled?  if not, how do you think that would have effected it?

I want to do owner handled, but am also considering ringside pick-up on Logan for the bigger shows.

Thanks again, it was thrilling to win, there were some serious competitors there, too... and some nasty pieces of work.  I knew dog show people had that reputation for a reason! hahahah I need to work on my bitchiness. :)

she got her singles at smaller shows...like 3-4? Then won some 4pt or 3pt majors....you need 3 of those which she did...think it was like 4 4pt'ers? Then her singles. She went BOV over a Special in there too so that adds on pts sometimes. She might've also been shown to hold a major and they tried not to take it but took it anyhow lol.

    She kicked butt!

Her co-owner/co-breeder did the handling and she was always entered in a won all her pts in BBE. Barbara is a long long time dog person...she's in her 70's and is also an AKC judge...so she knows how to handle LOL.

Beagles aren't a handler heavy breed in the classes...I don't know how Weim's are. Pro handlers are pretty much unheard of in Leo's but we're about to move into the Misc Class with AKC so we'll see how long that lasts!
