Still can't PM

What do you mean?  The PM won't go through? Or you can't get to a member to PM them?  You can't get to your PM box?  This is only with certain members?  Please add some details, unless you've spoken with Admin about it.  I'd like to see if we can get tech to help you. 

I don't know if it means something but a little while ago, I couldn't use the smileys, resulting in a post that sounded different than I wanted it to. After a while, I was able to use them again. So, it might have been something funny with my pc. Could there be temporary giltches, etc.? And, therefore, could a spurious glitch cause a problem with pm's?

ETA: Or is it that a person could switch off receiving pm's. I haven't tried that and don't want to.

Erg, OK, looks like we only got half the problem fixed.  I'll raise this tomorrow, thanks for letting us know.

And Ron, another problem we're aware of is that the formatting gets messed up if you are replying to a long post...it can take away your smilies above the reply box, for one thing.  I'll ask about the status of that being fixed as well tomorrow.
