It would appear that one of our members has been doing a little digging.

A few days ago I read a thread in which the member claimed she had filed a class action lawsuit against a pet company and won, that she was the impetus behind getting the company shut down....presumably that one mentioned in the article.  However, I'd hazard a guess that since class-action lawsuits take years, and that article was posted last Halloween, and she states in it that she was still looking for a lawyer for the suit then, she's lying about having won the case.

My guess is the real reason she didn't reply to the thread itself is that by admitting it's her, she has to admit that she lied before?  I'm not sure I'm a fan of people hunting out proof of others lying and then posting it....the Shannon saga took that too far....but it's fuzzy since it doesn't actually state anywhere that it's her....

Open to thoughts about this... 

I don't see how we can do much, honestly.  No where does it say it's her.  But, how far do we let this kind of stuff go?  Truly, while she maybe one of the more infuriating members I've ever met, she doesn't deserve to be stalked.  But, again... how do you prove it?  It could be an "accident" lol, i doubt it, but it could be.

 Sorry I'm not more help, it's just such a gray area.  But, I was one of the people trying to find any proof that Shannon was indeed deceased and while I wasn't pleased that it all came crashing down, at least we did find out the truth.  Not trying to compare, just saying.  I'm sure if that's Pomeranian, she's smarting a bit right now, because the truth is known to several people she's been butting heads with.

 

I don't think a PM to Ed, Amanda etc would be a bad idea. They have a HABIT of doing this, quite honestly...it is like a sport to them, and IMO it makes things around here unnecessarily tense and nasty. This being allowed is fine...because most members won't even know who it's directed at. But THEY know...and that is right along with their M.O. on other occasions...and it needs to stop. This is all just M.O. tho...

I'd imagine she is indeed smarting...because I am sure in her mind she's being suspended while others are allowed to attack her...fuzzy area indeed!

SHE may think she's being victimised, but she's not.  As we know of course, stuff happens that she doesn't know about.  If Ed or Amanda need editing again it will be time for a vacation for them too, and I wouldn't tell any member, Pom included...about that, in the same way that people won't know about hers.   

 Well that's true Gina.  They should be spoken to, I agree.  But, just to point out they didn't change a moderators edit, IMO that's where the line was truly crossed.  She claims to have read the rules... well.  Hmm.

  So, Kate, do you think a PM to Ed and Amanda is a good idea? 
 

I agree her tone all by itself has made her no friends....it's rather a self inflicted injury really. She needed a vacation...I am in no way disputing that. Only wanted to point out that patterns among other members should be considered in this as well....which it looks like is being handled so color me contented and purring LOL!

Oh I answered her...but when I went to post to her it said she'd been deactivated LOL.

I simply restated that her prompting tone to us was not okay...because she glossed that over...I restated that she is reponsible for behaving like an adult and reporting if necessary then moving on, and her general tone when posting might put people on edge, make them defensive (in case she was unaware I offered that as constructive critique) and she should try a nicer, less confrontational one, to see how that works out.

It was all very diplomatically put tho...which wasn't how I was feeling but LOL.
