    Of course I will check in as I can...but I am doing most of the cooking this year so I will not be on much. I may just log in and leave it to give any troublemakers the impression a Mod is about tho!

    No worries, it's not Turkey Day here so I will be around.

    I will be happy to eat some pumpkin pie for you Kate.  I make mine with REAL pumpkin, never seen the inside of a can! 

    Not to worry Gina.  I'm only cooking for the three of us, so no biggie with getting it on the table here!  I'll be around too.

    this is pretty typical for us.  Sometimes oldest ds comes home, but not this year, particularly when he just got married on Monday.  In days gone by, when DH was in an active rock format and had YOUNG employees, they were always invited for the holidays, kids away from home for pretty much the first time, but no longer.

    I did invite my Mom, but the grandkids and greats beat me so just us three today.  And that's fine with me.
