Kate? What happened?

I was reading Ixas girls posts in the very offended and the suggestion threads and now they are gone?? I didn't edit, and I don't think I even clicked on moderate, although I was tempted in the first one. I'm not sure how that happened, but both posts are now empty boxes. I *think* I would have needed to do something physically for them to disappear......my volcan mind meld isn't THAT good. Sometimes my laptop posts before I'm ready, or sends email before I want it sent....think it's the built in mouse pad....and sometimes it decides to change font, etc, but..... If she didn't take them out herself she's gonna be ticked. And I'm not computer literate enough to know how to "fix" them. Her post in offended was snarky, her post in suggestions was fine.

Help?

Wow! You're brave! I thought about doing that and chickened out. I do NOT want to tick her off and further than she already HAS been!

LOL...I went out for lunch with a friend and had a couple of drinks....probably made me brave....or stupid...

Well so much for the guideline for not abusing the report feature. According to Ixas_girl I edited both of her posts. If I did, I certainly didn't do it intentionally and I don't know how I could have not on purposely done it. Crap.

Well something happened.....she responded to my PM saying the edit notes showed you'd edited them. I told her she could put back what was in there, which she has now done, including saying you had edited them and she didn't know why. I need to have a think about whether or not to ask her to remove that. She did at least appreciate the heads up from me about it...I'll handle the abuse reports.

I'm not sure that is an abuse of the report feature, if indeed that is what the edit notes said, she has a right to be annoyed about it. There's the possibility that she's having fun with us, but I don't know.

The edit notes only show the last edit. Unfortunately, because I thought none of us had edited them, I told her that she could replace what she'd written. She wrote back saying you'd edited them, but by then she had put her text back in and the only edit shows up as being hers.

OK, this is my third try at saying this......my last two posts didn't show up.

it's interesting that the previous edits don't show up, and I'm guessing she knew that. I'm not sure if she's playing games or not, but what a marvelous way to cause issues for someone she doesn't like.

Her post in offended is a whole lot tamer than the first one she wrote.

If you think I should publicly apologize to her, I will. But, honestly the worst I did was WISH the little witch would go away forever.
