Somethiing isn't quite right with this.....

I'll be the first to admit that I probably should have just let the post stand in the thread about the two week old pups, even tho it really wasn't a terribly helpful one.....but the tone of her pm's and the tone of her "offended" thread are totally different and I've gotta wonder if this person is just really young and inconsistent, or if s/he is trying to create problems?

My initial PM could have been warmer, friendlier, nicer, and maybe it is a little rude, but, here's everything that transpired....

They weren't my pups, but I wanted to protect the feelings of the gal who was trying to save them.  Thank you for understanding.  I'll go ahead and delete it for you.

This is what she posted, which tells me she doesn't have a CLUE how to help and was just looking for a place to post where she thought she might know something.  And then her offended thread?  I don't get any of this.  I apologized to her in that thread at least in case my first pm was rude, but, I think we might want to keep an eye on this one.

Honestly Glenda, IMO the post should have stayed.  I'm going to start another thread as to why, because it's a bigger issue that I'd really love to discuss amongst all of us, not just focused on this one example.

BUT, I agree that her tone changed, and that is very weird.  Nevertheless, I do sometimes accept something at first and then get angry about it later when I've had a chance to think about whatever it was....much more so actually when I was younger, but this person does sound young and it's sort of hard (although human) to criticise someone for something I have most certainly been "guilty" of myself.

Off to start another thread, I'd appreciate everyone weighing in on it.

Yep, and I admit that I'm guilty of acting to protect a long time member.  But I think that she started the thread between her two responses to me.  So either she's making a big deal out of what she considered to be nothing, or something.  I dunno.

And, I didn't just delete her post without first asking her if she would.  Not like I went crazy with the editing....I made a request.  And yes, I can see how it might bother her, but not the way she made it sound.  Just look at the timing of the pm's.  Something is odd.
