she's saying she wants to send something to someone with one single dog - as opposed to trying to find a match for her.. however many dogs she has now.  Four?  Five?  I'm guessing it would be a tough strain to buy for 4-5 other dogs, but she'd like to participate nonetheless.

 I'm probably on the naughty list from last years swap because half of the gifts never got to my recipient.  I kept meaning to send again and again.  Luckily I'd sent part of it via dog.com, so they got something, but not enough.  I still have the remaining stuff in a box that I brought with me here!

 LOL Good point, Paige! I remember when she was a mod, and she didn't like something, she'd say "I received multiple complaints about X...." yeah, right. 

Anyway -- sounds like a good solution. Honestly, I would want nothing to do with her. But, it's always hard to say "everyone can play, but KIM."  That seems very immature to me and not fair, ultimately.  BUT, if she doesn't want to receive anything... that's not exactly "playing" is it.

PS, Glenda, we don't need an hourly count-down until you get to move into a rental.  How does one get to be her age and still be in the position of renting places to live and not have a house, ya know?  Not like she owned the house they lived in back in MI...

thanks for the support Paige I am amazed she's hung on like this - my heart breaks for my uncle and for my cousins to have to go through this - again.  My cousin (aunt & uncle's first born) died 5 yrs ago after battling cancer for 5 years. I was hoping that my aunt would go quickly and peacefully but she hasn't.  The conversation with my mom was horrific.  It is inhumane that we make humans hang on to the very end - we would humanely euthanize a dog weeks before they got to where my aunt is.

Anyway I will be driving (unless I get a decent price for a flight) to NY for the funeral.  We have a beach trip planned for this weekend with friends from NY meeting us so i am selfishly hoping that I can go to the beach and then go to NY
