It's hard being a mod these days, because you want to be one of the ones who lays into her... but you have to be ever so careful.  I'm thankful that Gina is around more - she finds a way to get the point across in the most palatable way possible.

 Wow -- she doesn't "whip" her kids neither, ma!!!  I saw the title of that thread and I thought "oh no!! Poor baby!" (thinking it got smashed in a door, or something) little did I know......

 Everyone is doing well in the thread, knock me over with a feather!  Great post, Paige, I know it must have been killing you not to rip into her!!!

I had to restrain myself, but I definitely wanted to encourage Stephanie's take, that this needs a "reprimand" of its own, followed by instruction.  Just saying "YOU'RE WRONG" is the same as "popping" her in the face (which might feel good to the person releasing the tension, but only builds resentment in the poster.. lol)  Giving direction on things to try differently is more effective.  I'm very glad people tempered their "aww, we all have bad days" with "cut the crap and don't come bragging to a forum when you hit your dog."
