    10 month old Pound Puppy

Hello all.  I have a little girl that I rescued from a shelter back in June that is now 10 months old.  I was hoping you all migh tshed some light on what she is.

    So....  Name that breed.  [:D]

    Oh what a cutie!

First guess would be a Pitty but then looking some more I'm wondering if it could be possible for her to be a Dogo argentino?

I would guess pitt bull or boxer mix (possibly a mix of the two) or dogo Argentino,,,but just as a side note, have you had her hearing tested? All white dogs have a tendancy to be deaf, not all of them are but a large percentage are.

I have not had her hearing "clinically" tested but she appears to have at least some hearing.  When on walks she will react to dogs barking form back yards.  These dogs are behind privacy fences so she can't see them.  Also, she will respond to voice commands even whe she is obviously distracted and not looking at me.  Like her head in a hole that she just dug in the back yard.  [:@]

Thank you for the cutie remark, and yes I have looked in depth at Dogo's and I personally think that is what she is.  Kinda fishing for un-biased oppinions.

Yeah, those are her, "Get Out of Jail Free" card.  Hard to stay mad when she looks at you with them.

dogos are quite large-- how big is your pup? doesn't look big enough to be a dogo judging by the chair in the pics.

I was going to post the same thing. She looks too small to be a Dogo.

Height for mature females should range between 23½ and 25½ inches.

I cruised a couple of Dogo boards and found several females around 60-70lbs owned by folks...not huge by my measure. But I'd imagine like with any breed there's a range in size based on quality lines and owner care. The Dogos used for hunting looked a bit lighter than the "show folks"...not unexpected.

Her build in the puppy pics posted several months ago was along Dogo lines.
More side pics would be GREAT...hint hint..lol

The Dogo I met was actually quite small, and looked very much like this girl.  I would say she looks pure Dogo, but they are fairly rare.  But then again, I never would have even dreamed of meeting one before, let alone knowing 2 that needed to be rehomed...

She weighed in a the vet on Wednesday at 58.2 pounds.  She will be 10 months on the 14th of February.  I need to get a height to shoulder for her.  The only thing that the Dogo breeders I have talked to say doesn't fit is the fact her ears are short and therefor don't lay to her head right.

Thanks for all of the kind words and compliments folks.  I'm sure if she could blush she would.   [:)]
