Hi there,
   I have a 4 year old Aussie that I adore. He is great with my 18 year old Jack Russell, but he is absolutely "my" partner!  I think most Aussie's are like that, they are very devoted to people they love, just not a lot of them, people that is. Good luck with the pups!
