If You Were a Breeder.....

I am a Breeder of German Imports German Shepherds.  I sell Pet Quality only AKC registered.  Temperment is my first and foremost, that all my puppies fill my request for the almost perfect home.  I breed for the best health I can guarantee with warrantys on health, hips etc.  I keep in touch with all owners from Ca. to Fl states and expect them to contact me with any questions that arise.  I hope I can breed out the many problems associated with the breed, one step was to go to the European Lines and try.  Of course nothing is perfect but I sure try.  My dogs are my life, they live indoors, travel with me and are my children in fur coats.

I would like to produce a healthy belgian (terv or mal, maybe a black or wired dog even) and match it with an owner so that the dog would win the national specialty; be a dual champion (herding and conformation) including different herding venues beyond AKC (AHBA ASCA, BCSA); and have other performance titles ( obedience, agility, rally, tracking)

Irish wolfhounds-and to breed to the standard-so many people got wrapped up in the larger is better notions that there were alot of IWs out there who couldn't hope to run worth a darn.  And yet, to be really fair, I have met my share of IW fanciers who are involved in coursing competition to the point that some pretty scary stuff has turned up as traits in their breed lines, because the focus is so much on running and not looking at the total package-That is why I would be constantly looking to the standard and trying to bring together the best of function and size/appearance.

I would love to breed Cavaliers, when/if I can afford it.  I would breed to preserve the breed, with the focus on improving health and maintaining the sweet Cavalier temperament.  I don't particularly want to show, but I would probably have to in order to get quality dogs to breed.
