• Minty_Pups Posted : 5/16/2006 9:03:36 PM Rottie X gsd? Here's a picture of my gsd when he was a pup.  They have some similarities, but the nose shape and the eyes look different. People have always said to look at the paws to know how big the dog's gonna get.  This is true to some extent, but wont give you a very exact answer. Both rotties and gsds are prone to hip problems.  It's very important to have them on a large breed puppy diet to ensure proper developement.
