Any Ideas?

We took a dog from a woman who was going to dump him in a field in the middle of the night because her daughters grades in school dropped. He is some kind of terrier mix. But what kind we don't have a clue. He is about 5 months and is slightly bigger than our 4 year old chihuahua. Any ideas as to what he is???

Oh my goodness, what a face!! How could anyone drop the poor thing off in a field?!? Ugh I hate parents who think animals lives are tossable like that and use them to punish children...

But anyway, I'd say he's some sort of Chihuahua/Terrier X. That coloring most likely came from the Chi as it's not a typical marking for the kind of terrier he looks like he has in him - possibly a Cairn. He has Cairn fur it looks like. Is he long bodied? Something about him reminds me of a Dachshund, but that could be the pictures

I'm not for sure what he is, but i do know one thing he is a cutie. That is just mean to try dropping a dog off in a field. My god it's not the dog's fault her grades dropped. I would punish my daughter and try to work with getting her grades up then taking it out on a dog.

To call that woman is a bitch is insulting to all female dogs!!! HOW could anypne do something that awful?

Yes. He is the dog who will remain etched in that little girl's mind for the rest of her life. But, her grades won't improve. Instead, she will probably act out in various ways to get back at the cruel mother who couldn't take the time to think of a *constructive* way to help her daughter.
